Demon

I stare at the monster in the mirror.
This hideous beast isn’t me.
Her deep black eyes scream terror,
And my mouth screams in fear.
She hates me and I her.
We’re waging a war for control,
Control of my mind, body and soul.
I’m losing.
The demon tears at my heart.
She is destroying everything that I’ve ever loved.
I want to destroy her.
Give me something to destroy her.
